Apparently achilles tendon injuries can just happen no matter the fitness and age of the player, without any contact they just break. It’s one of the mysteries of sports physiology.
And thus not much of a reflection on Beckham’s fitness in the future.
It’s a shame though.

DanielsVideoChannel Posté 16 mars 2010 le 19 h 14 min

I disagree. He can be a useful player for England, for any team actually. He was the difference when Milan were playing Manchester United, he brought a spark to an otherwise lacklustre Milan outfit.

@gkouroushi
Delap is Irish (well has played for ROI), and shit so no we don’t need him.

PSNcrazy95 Posté 16 mars 2010 le 19 h 17 min

:(
i would of never belived anyone could do that with so little force

erroneous169 Posté 16 mars 2010 le 19 h 18 min

Forget Beckham…England should have made their team around Scholes for the last decade and now its too late. Their chance of winning a world cup ended a long time ago when Paul Scholes retired.

DCTheGuitarist Posté 16 mars 2010 le 19 h 19 min

I don’t know what all the fuss is about, its sad he’s not going to go to the World Cup, but honestly would he have played behind Lennon, Walcott and SWP, not to mention players like Milner Young, and J.Cole.

England as a team are better off with out him, the team can’t revert to this deep crossing shit that they have for the past 10 years, in this day against quality opposition they need to adapt. They can’t with Beckham in the team.
